ખુબ જ સામાન્ય એવો આ સાપ , તેના બે માથા હોવાની માન્યતાને લઈને વધુ પ્રખ્યાત છે . તેને હિન્દીમાં “ દોમુહા” કહે છે. ઘણા , માને છે કે તે એક મો બાજુથી ૬ મહીના અને બીજા મો બાજુથી ૬ મહિના ચાલે છે. પરંતુ હકીકતમાં તો તેની પૂંછડીનો આકાર મો જેવો લાગે છે . તેથી તેને એ મો હોવાનો ભાસ થાય છે . આ સાપનો ‘ X RAY ‘ કરાવીને સર્પ નિર્દશન પ્રદર્શનમાં તેનું એક જ મો છે તે બતાવાવા છતાં કેટલાક તેમની માન્યતાને વળગી રહેછે. ઘેરા બદામી કે કાળાશ પડતો લાલ રંગ ધરાવતો આ સાપ સંપૂર્ણ બિનહાનીકારક છે . તેને ગમે તે રીતે પકડો તે કઈ પણ કરતો નથી . તેનું શરીર પ્રમાણમાં મજબુત થતા જાડું છે . આ સાપની પૂછડી ખુબ ટૂંકી છે. તેથી તેનો અવસારણી માર્ગ શરીરના છેડે આવેલો જણાય છે . પૂંછડી એકદમ ટૂંકી થઇ જતી હોઈ , મો જેવો ભાસ કરાવે છે. ગળું અલગ પડતું નથી. પૂછડી પણ સાંકડી ન થતી હોઈ , શરીર સળંગ એકસરખી જડાઈનું લગે છે . આંખો શરીરના કદનાં પ્રમાણમાં ઝીણી છે . એકદમ નજીકથી નિહાળીએ તો જ તે દેખાય છે . પેટાળનો રંગ ઝાંખો બદામી છે . તેમાં ક્યારેક કાળા ટપકા પણ જોવા મળે છે . ye saap sabse aam saapo mese ek he ese do muha saap , lekin ise apne do sir hone ki ger manyata ke karan bohot hi prasidhhi milihe , log mante he ki yeh saap 6 mahine agle sir se or disare 6 mahine dusare sir se chalta he , x ray ki madad se jab dhikhaya gayaki is saap ko ek hi sir he firbhi bohot se log is manyata ko chipke rehte he , or bhi bohot si manyata or rochak jakari he dekhiye is video me .
